We have received the sad news of the passing of WBro Gene Hatfield, KAG, PSGD, Assistant Provincial Grand Master for the Province of the USA, following the return of a long standing illness.
A very active freemason, in addition to his position with the Order of Athelstan, Gene was Clerk of Stone City Quarry Assemblage of the Operatives, the incoming governor of the Sovereign York Rite College in Iowa, the head of Yeomen of York in Iowa, Past Grand Commander of the Grand Commandery, Knights Templar of Iowa, sitting Grand King of the Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of Iowa, Knight Commander of the Court of Honor 32°, and secretary of his Lodge—in addition to many other Masonic, civic, and religious affiliations. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
